The University of Nottingham has joined forces with The Lloyd’s Register Educational Trust (The LRET) to launch an exciting new initiative in Risk and Reliability Engineering based in the Nottingham Transportation Engineering Centre (NTEC). As a result of the support of The LRET, the Centre is seeking to appoint two lecturers.  The successful candidates will conduct research in the areas of either system maintenance optimisation, or Bayesian belief network applications to system fault diagnostics. They will also be members of a team responsible for the development and delivery of a new distance learning MSc programme in Systems Risk and Reliability Methods.
